Dr. Simon Earl

Paediatrician

Dr. Earl completed medical school in South Africa in 1983 and moved to Canada to complete his paediatric training in 1992. Soon after that he moved to Prince George where he met his wife and they had their three children. After nearly 30 years working in Prince George, Dr. Earl has slowed down his practice and is no longer accepting new patients. When he is not working he enjoys spending time with his family at their cabin, or being outdoors and exploring the back country of northern BC.

Dr. Emilie Jean-St-Michel

Paediatrician and Paediatric Cardiologist

Dr. Jean-St-Michel joined us in August 2022. She previously worked as a paediatric cardiologist at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. She is originally from northern Quebec and is fluent in English and French. She and her family relocated in order to  experience everything that makes northern BC wonderful. Dr. Jean-St-Michel practices as a general  paediatrician as well as a paediatric cardiologist, and is a member of BC Children's Hospital's Department of Pediatric Cardiology.

Dr. Kirsten Miller

Paediatrician

Dr. Miller has been a Paediatrician in Prince George since 2005. She trained in Ottawa (for medical school) and Vancouver (for paediatric residency, at BC Children’s Hospital). Dr. Miller and her husband chose to settle in Prince George and love living in northern BC! They have 3 sons. In her spare time Dr. Miller enjoys snowboarding and skiing, biking and spending time with her family.

Dr. Jessica Strong: Currently on leave

Paediatrician

Dr. Strong completed her medical school and paediatric residency in South Africa in 2018. In 2019 she moved to Prince George with her husband and joined our team. Dr. Strong and her husband have two young children. When she is not  working, she can be found exploring all that northern BC has to offer with her family. Dr. Strong is on currently on leave and her practice is closed during this time.

Dr. James Toft

Paediatrician

Dr. Toft moved to Prince George in September 2022 to join the pediatrics team. He is originally from Vancouver, completed medical school in Sydney, Australia and returned to complete his pediatric residency at BC Children’s Hospital. When not working, Dr. Toft loves hiking and exploring along with his partner and dog and is excited to discover more of what northern BC has to offer!

Beckie Work

Medical Office Manager

Beckie is an experienced Medical Office Administrator who joined our Prince George Paediatrics office in early 2022. She has worked in medical offices for several years and is an organizational wizard and tech champion. These skills serve her well in her role as our Office Manager. When not in the office, Beckie enjoys spending time on her acreage raising chickens and ducks with her three children.

Megan Beaulieu

Medical Office Assistant

Megan started working part-time in our office and became a valuable addition, so luckily she joined us as a full-time MOA. Megan grew up in Prince George and is no stranger to what northern BC has to offer. She enjoys camping and will never turn down an opportunity to spend a day at the lake.

Django

Office Morale Booster

Django has a casual position in our clinic; he spends occasional half days here. Django is 8 years old and loves to meet children and teens who come for appointments. Django is a professional nap taker and enjoys receiving head pats from anyone willing to give them out. When Django is not at work he can be found going for walks with his human, Dr. Miller, and the rest of his family.
