Clinic Policies

Cancellations & Missed Appointments
We require 2 full business days notice to cancel a scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in the referral being closed, and a new referral will be required from your primary care provider to return to our waitlist. After 2 missed or late cancelled appointments, the referral will be returned to your child's referring provider. If you, or your child is sick, please contact our office as soon as possible. We may be able to offer a virtual appointment or reschedule, but please note that the next available appointment may not be immediate.
Arriving Late
We understand that life happens, but we ask that you make every effort to arrive on time for a scheduled appointment. Please let us know if you are running behind and we will make every effort to try to accommodate you. Arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time usually results in needing to reschedule for another day.

Forms and Letters
If you require a letter or form completed by one of the paediatricians, please contact our office. There may be a fee charged for this service. The charge depends on the form or letter needed. Please see the Fees page for a list of fees not covered through MSP.
Prescription Refills
The paediatricians make every effort to prescribe sufficient medication until the next appointment. If your prescription will run out before the appointment, please provide at least 2 weeks notice when requesting a prescription refill by fax or phone.
Respectful Conduct
This office maintains a zero-tolerance policy for violent, aggressive, or abusive behavior, whether in-person or by phone. Individuals engaging in such behavior may be discharged from our clinic.
